Late nineteenth century elegant American cast iron garden suite, the design is a blend is taken from the rococo revival and the Renaissance revival styles. This lot consists of settee and one chair. The seat back with continuous interlocking ovals connected by rosettes supporting a scalloped crest with centered renaissance revival female maskette motif. The rounded back extends to the C and S scrolled arms terminating in volute scrolls. Serpentine shaped seat with three horizontal circular pierced Gothic roundels on the settee and single roundel on the chair, supported on French cabriole legs with foliage and acanthus leaves terminating in French scrolled feet.
