Large one-of-a-kind cathedral renaissance style bronze and repoussé candle chandelier in the manner of E.F Caldwell, from the 1920's. Three bronze chain links with circular and diamond shapes suspended from a bronze repoussé canopy. Middle bronze and brass support with a cathedral shaped dome surrounded by Solomonic columns with acanthus capital, supporting semi arched frames, each with a Renaissance cross, a single candle surmounting the dome with brass bobeche with inscription "Gift of Mr. & Mrs. Thomas J. Ryan in memory of Patrick and Jane Comiskey." Thomas J. and Grace Comiskey Ryan, son-in-law and daughter to Patrick and Jane Comiskey. Patrick Comiskey, manager of the White Sox in the 1880's when the team was in St. Paul MN, older brother to Charles A Comiskey founder of renowned Comiskey Park in Chicago.
