An outstanding, French hand painted porcelain center bowl, having a blue, green paisley design at the rim punctuated with raised gilt and orange colored flowers and framed by an undulating green border. Just below the green ribbon like border are raised lavender and purple flowers sitting on a raised gilt pad. Graceful gilt bronze handles in the shape of a bird in flight sit on either end. The top rim of the bowl is encircled by a pierced, gilt bronze frame. The base of the bowl is framed by an elaborate gilt bronze base sitting on four cabriole shaped feet. The bowl is marked on bottom, "C with and overlaid K", and numbered adding to its value and importance, Painted in gold on top rim of one side: "3339".
