French Empire onyx pedestal, warmly veined onyx pedestal with square pivoting top surface surmounting regal shaft in the form of  classical style fluted Ionic column shaft, gilded bronze scrolled volute capital, gilt bronze detailed waist with ribbon and acanthus leaf decoration, supported on a square triple stepped onyx plinth base.
